Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s statement on Apr. 4, 2017 hasn’t aged well — and the 19 simple words she shared that day about Justice Neil Gorsuch’s confirmation process just sucked the wind out of the so-called “Resistance” planned for the latest Supreme Court nominee.

Warren is one of the leading figures trying to fight President Donald Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

She was also the leading figure of the fight against Gorsuch, who was easily confirmed.

On Apr. 4, 2017 Warren made the following bold statement —

Three days later, Gorsuch was confirmed by the Senate. The 19 simple words in that tweet is proof Warren doesn’t know what she’s talking about when it comes to stopping Trump’s nominee.

It means her latest predictions regarding Kavanaugh have zero weight —

“It’s time to fight,” Warren promises.

Just like last time, when Warren claimed there was no chance Gorsuch would be confirmed… and 72 hours later, one of the most conservative justices in decades was affirmed as the newest member of the Supreme Court.
